One of the most rapidly evolving industries, telecommunication companies must
not only stay competitive by introducing cutting-edge services for end-users,
they also face constantly evolving technologies and application standards that
vary from continent to continent.
In such an environment, it’s not surprising that telecommunication players are
constantly faced with the need to adapt core billing systems to meet higher
performance levels and tighter integration between a widening scope of
services.
ITS-GBS has worked with telecommunication partners, with a combination of
technical and business expertise. We fill the gaps that emerge as new
technologies are introduced, adding or modifying systems to meet operators’
business requirements.
For some of our Telco clients, we Web-enabled existing software and built an
API CORBA server from ground up with all interfaces to expose the billing
system to the firm’s customers, including ATM bill settlement and Web access to
account information. We also enabled prepaid subscribers to top-up their
account balances online, using voice response, or through a call center, for
example, by building an interface to the intelligent network (IN) switches that
interfaced with IVRs.
